Noto: The Queen of Baroque

Once home to ancient Noto, which was destroyed in the 1693 earthquake, the new town emerged in the early 18th century, 10 km southeast of its original location. Its most remarkable monument is the Duomo (Cathedral), featuring a grand façade that captivates visitors.
Just 6 km southeast lies Noto Marina, a beach resort located near the ruins of the ancient Greek city of Eloro, characterized by its 6th-century BC walls.
